A very warm welcome back to another packed edition of our newsletter! It continues to be a wonderful, hardworking, positive and peaceful time at St. Michael's. Let's catch up on all the activities and events that have been taking place at our great school!!
Events and Activites Update
Well to say it has been an action packed term is a bit of an understatement!!!!!!!!!!
Sporting Success
Once again it has been a tournament winning start to the new term!!! This time it is the turn ot St Michael's Girl's FC who retained the BPSFA 6-a-side tournament last week. It was a close fought tournament with St Michael's winning the final aginst Paulton in a thrilling penalty shootout! A big well done to all the team and their manager Mr York!!!!
A big well done to Mr Bentley-Taylor and the Y4 and Y6 football teams who participated in the FA Charter Schools Tournament held at Yeovil Town FC. Both teams played extremely well with the Year 4 team only losing one of their five games. This is a great achievement as St Michael's played teams from the whole of the Somerset area and rounds off a very successful season!
Extra-Curricular Clubs Terms 5 and 6
With a new term comes a new round of extra-curricular clubs for our children to enjoy. A big thank you to all staff who give up their own free time in the provision of these opportunities for the children of St Michael's. Clubs commence week beginning Monday 30th April.

Tuesday 8th May - Year 4 SAT's Week
Thursday 10th May - Avon Fire and Rescue Visit
St Michael's is participating in the 'Sparks' programme provided by Avon Fire and Rescue. This involves the crew members of Blue Watch from Bath Fire Station visiting our school to discuss the fire safety and also give a tour of the fire engine. Many thanks to the fire crew for coming into our school for this important programme.
