Our fabulous dancers did St Michael’s proud by performing at the Dance Umbrella 2007 at the Bath Forum last week. It was a fabulous performance with brilliant costumes on show!!! A huge well done to all the dancers and a huge thank you to Ms Cuthbertson, Miss Mellor and Mrs Price for all their hardwork on the choreography and costumes.

q Once again Mr Bentley-Taylor has managed to obtain a new football kit from the Football Foundation for our great team to wear with pride. Indeed, their first game in it was against Southdown last week and itcertainly proved to be aninspiration! After going 1-0 downthe team stormed back and ended up winning 3-1!!! With only one game to go the team is on course to win the league for the second successive season! Finally, a record was set for the team during the game as it was the first time that two sisters (Amy and Rebecca) and two brothers (Dayne and Blake) have ever played in the same team for our school! A fabulous achievement and well done to Mr Bentley-Taylor and the squad!

Well they managed it!!! As you may have seen Mr Sydenham, Mr Goucher and Bob (or should I say 118! 118! and ‘The Angel’) completed the course and a big well done to them!!! Mr Goucher and Mr Sydenham both hobbled into school the next day but with big smiles on their faces!! They have asked me to thank everybody who cheered them on and sponsored them in raising money for our school!!!!! A big well done q
Looking Forward - Dates for Your Diary Monday 26th March – Monday 2nd April Healthy Living Week
After participating in last year’s very successful Healthy Living Week, we are once again enjoying a range of events to promote healthy living. The activities that some of our children have enjoyed include Cookery and Dog Walking.

As part of our ‘Healthy Living’ celebrations we will be holding our annual St Michael’s Mini-Marathon! Once again we will be trying to complete a full 26.2 miles around our playground while trying to raise money for our school and charity. Sponsorship forms and details have already been sent out by Mr Goucher and it promises to be a wonderful day!
